How do I get a replacement Student ID card?

Replacement Student ID cards can be requested from the Registration and Examinations office. A fee of €5.00 applies.

I forgot my NUI Galway password

Contact CASS directly: servicedesk@nuigalway.ie or call 091 495777

I forgot my St. Angela's College password.

To reset your password, contact the Registration and Examinations office on 071-9135658 / 071-9195513. 
When your password is reset it will revert back to: zZ then the first 4 digits of your PPS number followed by the first 4 digits of your Date of Birth e.g. if your PPS is 12345678 and your DOB is 4th May 1993 then your password is zZ12340405
You may change your password once logged on to any pc on campus.

I can't access my emails.

Please ensure you have registered for your programme.  See How do I register online? to register for your programme.
Remember your username for email is your full email address i.e. studentnumber@stangelas.nuigalway.ie, (a help video is available on the college website).
If the problem persists, please fill out the help request form on the college website www.stangelas.nuigalway.ie/students this will generate a work request and a technician will contact you.

Your Student ID card will then be posted to your home address.

  • Enter your ID number and password.

Update details accordingly. Once details are updated you must click on the tick-box. To log-off the system simply close the window.

My name has changed, how do I update this for College records?

For name changes after marriage, please submit an original copy of your marriage certificate to the Registration and Examinations Office. For reverting back to original family name, please submit a copy of your birth certificate to the Registration and Examinations Office.

I can't access the NUI Galway library facility

Please note that access to NUI Galway library facilities may take a number of weeks.

You must first be registered as a St. Angela’s College student.
You must activate your Campus Account Self Service (CASS) account before you can use the NUI Galway online library services.

If you continue to have difficulty accessing the NUI Galway Library facility, please confirm your details with the Registration and Examinations Office at St. Angela’s College.
Once details are confirmed and problem persists, contact CASS directly: servicedesk@nuigalway.ie or call 091 495777

It is in your best interest to attempt accessing the NUI Galway library during your first month at College - do not leave it until you require documents for exams/assignments as delays may occur.

I can't log on to 'Registration Updating'

Please contact the Registration and Examinations Office on 071-9195512 / 071-9195513 to verify that your details are correct. Please have your PPS# ready for this call.

How do I register online? (Returning Students)

Update details if necessary, to register for the coming year you must click the tick-box at the bottom of the page. To log-off the system simply close the window.

Please ensure you have submitted your details (including DOB and PPS#) to the relevant College Department

  • Enter your ID number and password.

Once logged-on, you will be brought to a Welcome page. 

  • Click on the ‘Update my Registration Details’ icon.  This will bring you to your own profile page, please verify and amend this information as necessary
  • To ensure that your registration is correct and complete for the coming academic year you must click on the tick-box at the bottom of the page
  • Once complete, you will now be registered for your programme.  To log-off the system simply close the window
