Applications now open for Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Applied Health and Wellness Coaching
Health coaching draws on a number of underpinning theories including Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing and Appreciative Inquiry. The aim of health and wellness coaching is to empower individuals to make lifelong healthy changes to their lifestyles. The coaching client chooses the behaviour they want to change or improve and the Health and Wellness Coach coaches them using evidence-based skills and knowledge.
This level 9 programme will provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to enable them to support their clients to achieve their health goals. The areas addressed within the programme include the underpinning theories and the practice and application of coaching, coaching relationship skills, the psychology of behavioural change, nutrition and physical activity)and coaching to improve psychological wellbeing.
