Enter St. Angela's College 'Sew Cool' Competition, in association with Hickeys and win cash prizes and Hickeys vouchers!
There are two competition categories open to second level students:
Sew Cool Home Economics Textile Project Work - enter your textile project work created during the 2013-2017 Junior Cycle/ TY Home Economics programme
Create with Hickeys - Design and construct a fashion garment, using fabric and materials purchased at Hickeys

How to Enter:
1. DOWNLOAD ENTRY FORM from this link.
2. Photograph your work.
3. Complete the entry form.
4. Affix photograph to the form and send to:

We hope you will take the ‘Sew Cool’ competition 2016/2017 as an opportunity to showcase your/ your students’ excellent, creative textile work and give them the chance to win great prizes. Thank you for your involvement in this prestigious and worthwhile event and we look forward to receiving your creative entries.
Competition Rules:

  • Only one entry is allowed per student.
  • The judges’ decision in each category is final.
  • It is a condition of entry that St. Angela's College is given permission to photograph entries and to publish these images to promote the Sew Cool Competition and the work of St. Angela's College.
  • If shortlisted in the competition you will be required to post or have your Home Economics Textile Project Work / Create with Hickeys Garment delivered to St. Angela’s College by the 26/05/2017.
  • Presentation of prizes and display of winning entries will take place at the Association of Teachers of Home Economics Conference, October 2017.
