The Lough Gill School of Culinary Arts will be holding a Graduation Ceremony on Monday the 14th of March for the participants on the 8 - week Commis Chef Culinary programme funded by Fáilte Ireland.
Fáilte Ireland launched this Culinary Programme to allow participants to successfully enter the tourism industry with the prospect of a culinary career. The successful participants have the option at a later stage to progress on to a newly developed 'Chef's Apprenticeship Programme'. The Lough Gill School of Culinary Arts was pleased to be chosen as one of the providers for the programme and to provide the necessary facilities and training.
The graduation will begin with a presentation of certificates at 2.15PM in the Virginia Henderson Theatre, followed by a celebratory banquet (prepared by the culinary students)in the main canteen at 2.45 PM.
