St Angela’s College together with the Restaurants Association of Ireland are hosting the Super Chef Competition Final 2015-2016. The finals will take place today, Wednesday the 10th February (Junior Final) and Thursday 11th February (Senior Final) at St Angela’s College. The All-Island Cook Off is judged by a panel of experts including award winning chef Wade Murphy of 1826 Adare, Limerick.
The Super Chef competition is open to all students in post-primary schools in Ireland and Youthreach Centres in the Republic of Ireland. 32 students (16 Junior and 16 Senior), from 17 different counties, have been selected to go forward to the all-island final based on almost 900 entries submitted by over 200 schools and Youthreach Centres across the country.
The competition is endorsed by Healthy Ireland and gives students an opportunity to create tasty, healthy and affordable meals at home or in school.
