Library/Services - Borrowing And Returning Material
At the start of each academic year a presentation of library services is made to all new students as part of the course induction. Borrowing And Returning MaterialAll registered students of the college are issued a St. Angela’s College Student Identity Card. This student ID card serves as your Library ID Card and students are required to present it when borrowing books. The records of the library collection are maintained in the computerised Library Online Catalogue using the Heritage 4 Software system. Terminals are available in the library for searching the catalog and the catalog may also be accessed from any of the student computer labs located on the college campus. Borrowing privileges are extended to all staff and students of the college. The library also offers an Inter Library Loan facility on a fee basis to students should they wish to obtain material from another library. Student Photocopying facilities are available in the library to copy material that is not available for loan. Seating space is provided in the library for quiet study.
You will not be allowed to borrow material without your card. If you have lost your Student ID card you must request a replacement card from the Registrar’s office located next to Reception in Arus Brid. Until you receive your replacement card you will not be eligible to borrow library material.
